Have you ever had a blood clot, including DVT or pulmonary embolism?
Has a close family member ever had a blood clot?
Have you had a heart attack, angina, stroke or TIA?
Have you had major surgery in the last three weeks, a serious injury or a long period of immobility?
Will you take a flight or journey lasting more than four hours while using the medicine?
Have you ever had liver problems, jaundice, severe itching during pregnancy or porphyria?
Have you had breast cancer or another cancer affected by hormones?
Have you had repeated miscarriages?
Do you have systemic lupus erythematosus, also called SLE or lupus?
Do you take tranexamic acid, such as Cyklokapron or Evana Heavy Period Relief?

Migraines can involve a severe headache with nausea, vomiting or sensitivity to light or sound, sometimes with warning symptoms such as flashing lights. Blood clots, major surgery, immobility and long journeys can affect whether treatment is suitable.
